Kingdee has licensed J2EE version 1.4, and compatibility trademarks, for its flagship product, Apusic v4.0

Shenzhen Kingdee Middleware Co Ltd (Kingdee Middleware), a subsidiary of Kingdee International Software Group Co Ltd (HKSE: stock code 8133), the fastest-growing creator of enterprise software applications in China and Asia Pacific, and Sun Microsystems, the inventor of the Java technology platform, have signed a strategic co-operative agreement to jointly develop the enterprise market in China.

Kingdee has licensed the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) version 1.4 and compatibility trademarks for its flagship Apusic v4.0 software. The company has already passed the compatibility authentication test for J2EE 1.4 with Apusic v4.0. Currently, only 11 companies in the world have passed the test.

Sun Microsystems has recognised Kingdee's leading position in Java-based core technology solutions and application development. Under the agreement, both companies will further strengthen their co-operation in sales and marketing to jointly develop the enterprise market in China.
